Thank you.

Our foals are not mass-produced, they are exclusive sport horses for the discerning rider.

Having said that, they are bred to be both higher level competition horses as well as family members.  When you purchase a youngster from us, he or she will be well handled and socialised, i.e. they will be acclimatised to being bathed and groomed, and worked with on a daily basis.   A lot of attention is paid to their nutritional needs.  No effort is spared to ensure that our foals will reach their maximum potential and be well adjusted in order to lead happy, long, productive lives.

All our horses are sold with a right of first refusal contract, and we also offer a home to any of our horses who for any reason cannot be kept anymore, or eventually retired, by their new owners.  We also offer after sales service in that we are always available for advice and assistance with regard to the welfare of our horses.

The difference between a ‘horse breeder’ and a ‘horse farmer’ is that the former breeds a very limited number of excellent quality horses which can excel in higher level Open Competition and the All Breed arena, giving knowledgeable and informed thought to genetics, matches, suitability and, very importantly, market, whilst the latter annually pumps out foals which they do not look after properly, and which are of questionable quality, resulting in a glut of too many of the same type for which there is an ever-declining market.  Our motto has always been ‘Quality NEVER quantity’.

…When only the very best is good enough...

Text Box: Leopard Rock Moons’ Revolution

Introducing  “Leopard Rock Moons’ Revolution” ~ bred for dressage, eventing, jumping and to excel in conformation classes.

Sire:  Maluti Toby’s Many Moons [AHBSSA].  Dam:  Michele’s Reflection [USA - ApHC].

Revolution is Lexy’s first foal and we couldn’t have asked for better.  He is triple-bred Wap’s Spot 2 and was produced from the legendary dynasty of
Waps Spot 2 and  Wap’s Reflection’s dam’s side on the bottom.  Combine that with the ability and conformation of his sire, and Revolution’s pedigree, as far as Appaloosa Sport Horses goes,  is unmatchable.

Born 18 December 2013  @  >17h00.  Dun with 3 socks and 1 stocking, four white hooves, white sclera.   >17“ / >43cm at birth.  Very correct, incredibly long very straight legs with perfect angles and the excellent bone. Very refined, very small head and beautifully curled in  tiny ears.  In all our years of breeding, we’ve never had a foal with such a small head and ears.  Strongly built, with the most exquisite neck, excellent shoulder and  strong chest and hindquarter.  Excellent bone.   Looks very similar to his sire Many Moons as a foal.  As with all the foals from the JG Wap mares to Many Moons, he was born showy and with presence.  This foal is for a serious dressage enthusiast.  He will easily hold his own and excel against the best.  Cannot wait to see him in the show arena.

Updates: 13.08.14Revolution is growing up  as spectacularly as anticipated.  He has his dam’s long long legs, his sire’s small refined head and expressive eye, and a lot of presence.  He is showing exceptionally good movement, with such athleticism.  He is FAST, agile and careful.
November 2014: Gelded 17/11/14.  Revolution is showing all the attributes of a top class sport horse.   He will easily reach 17hh, and has the potential to perform in the higher grades.  He has an abundance of presence and ‘the look of eagles’ - he’s one in a million,  and will hold his own against any other breed.  Ready for a show and competitive rider to take him to the top.  Serious enquiries please phone. or email.
December 2015at 2yrs old, Revolution is a spectacular dressage / eventing / jumping prospect who has everything it takes to  compete at the highest levels.  His conformation, movement and temperament cannot be beaten.  Truly a magnificent horse who will excel.
July 2016:  16.2hh @ 2˝ yrs old and still growing, he is huge with substantial bone.  His movement is superlative and he is very correct.  His forté will be dressage but he will jump the moon and excel in eventing.  Truly a magnificent, one in a million type.  Videos on YouTube under “Leopard Rock Sport & Show Horse Stud’’
